If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.</div></div>The Deputy Manager – Outbound Transportation supports in developing and executing strategies for the transportation of fully built units (Import, Export, and Domestic), ensuring safe storage, maintenance, and efficient movement of vehicles at the yard. This role assists in managing multi-modal transportation, collaborating with third-party logistics providers, and coordinating with internal teams for timely shipments. The Deputy Manager is expected to uphold operational excellence, safety, and integrity of high-value assets, while contributing to continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives.  <ul><li>Support the Manager in leading outbound transportation for all CBU (Import/Export/Domestic distribution) activities. </li></ul><ul><li>Assist in developing and implementing transportation strategies to optimize costs and service levels. </li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate with carrier partners, 3PLs, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations. </li></ul><ul><li>Monitor transportation KPIs (on-time delivery, freight spend, transit time) and support performance improvement initiatives. </li></ul><ul><li>Participate in freight audit, payment processes, and cost control activities. </li></ul><ul><li>Ensure compliance with relevant transportation and trade regulations. </li></ul><ul><li>Ensure full compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and international trade/shipping regulations. </li></ul><ul><li>Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics technologies. </li></ul><ul><li>Drive or support continuous improvement projects focused on lead time reduction and network optimization. </li></ul><ul><li>Promote sustainability through efficient routing and load consolidation. </li></ul><ul><li>Supervise, coach, and develop team members to achieve departmental objectives. </li></ul><ul><li>Maintain accurate material schedules and ensure timely delivery to sites. </li></ul><ul><li>Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self, staff and visitors    </li></ul><ul><li>Strong acumen for freight cost management and budget control. </li></ul> <ul><li>Strong team coordination and leadership skills, with experience supporting cross-functional teams. </li></ul><ul><li>Good knowledge of transportation regulations, modes, and cost drivers. </li></ul><ul><li>Experience in managing freight spend and supporting carrier performance. </li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with outbound TMS platforms. </li></ul><ul><li>Analytical and data-driven mindset with sound decision-making abilities. </li></ul><ul><li>Effective communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills. </li></ul> <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field. </li></ul><ul><li>7–10 years of progressive experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations. </li></ul><ul><li>At least 2~3 years in a supervisory or team lead role within logistics. </li></ul><ul><li>Experience working with transportation providers and managing distribution networks. </li></ul><div><div>Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
