Final Assembly Electrician

Position Overview: Harsco Rail is seeking a skilled and dedicated Final Assembly Electrician to join our team. The Final Assembly Electrician will play a crucial role in ensuring the electrical systems of our rail maintenance and construction equipment are assembled, tested, and commissioned to the highest standards of quality and reliability. This position requires a meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to safety and excellence, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical System Assembly: Collaborate with production teams to install, wire, and assemble electrical components and systems onto rail maintenance and construction equipment on the final line.
• Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with specifications and standards.
• Commissioning: Assist in commissioning activities to verify the performance and safety of electrical systems prior to delivery to customers.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly, testing, and commissioning activities, including wiring diagrams, test results, and inspection reports.
• Quality Assurance: Adhere to quality control procedures and standards to ensure that all electrical work meets or exceeds regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
