Joining ScottishPower Energy Networks as Stakeholder Engagement Lead, you will be part of a team who provide a core function to the business by providing insight and intelligence which informs business decisions, supports resilience, and enhances our licence to operate through insight-led, relationship-driven collaboration.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Stakeholder Engagement Manager, you will drive the company’s stakeholder engagement strategy by developing communications, regulatory reporting, and strategic engagement. You will support senior leaders in planning and reporting, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and implementing innovative engagement approaches.

  • Strategic Engagement: Deliver stakeholder engagement using the INSIGHT > INPUT > IMPACT model.

  • Insight Gathering: Lead biannual stakeholder surveys, analyse insights, and drive action plans.

  • Innovation & Assurance: Challenge and enhance SPEN’s approach while ensuring compliance with AA1000 standards.

  • Collaboration & Communications: Support leadership in planning, reporting, and regulatory communications.

  • Relationship Building: Develop and strengthen stakeholder connections, embedding engagement across the business.

  • Internal Capacity & Social Value: Facilitate workshops, promote shared learning, and measure social impact using SROI.

  • Crisis Management: Play a key role in storm response and crisis communications.

What You'll Bring

  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement

  • Expertise in mapping, engagement models, and regulatory reporting.

  • Relevant professional certification or equivalent experience.

  • Strategic thinker with interpersonal and negotiation skills. Analytical, curious, and impact driven.

  • Willingness to travel and support crisis efforts when needed.
