Sr. GL Accountant (Philippines)

Zero is currently looking for a GL Accountant to support our

Responsibilities

• Manage GL accounting operations, including fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, insurance.

• Support month-end close process and activities including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

• Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including data analysis, integrity validation and reconciliation processes.

• Support monthly flux analysis of the general ledger accounts.

• Support implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP.

• Assist with the annual audit, including providing timely and accurate information to external auditors.

• Assist with accounting processes efficiency by implementing new processes and technologies.

• Assist with supporting schedules for preparation of federal, state and local tax filings.

• Assist on projects and ad hoc assignments as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors degree in accounting or related field.

• 3-4 years experience, preferably in a manufacturing company.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and US GAAP.

• Detail oriented and able to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong communication and organization skills.

• Proficient in excel.

• Passionate about accounting operations and willingness to roll up your sleeves.

• Possess the growth mindset; have an insatiable desire to grow and learn.

• SAP experience is a strong plus.
