Digital Product Designer (Apps)

Join us at VanMoof and help shape what’s next in city mobility.

As a Digital Product Designer, you’ll join the Experience Design team and help define how riders experience VanMoof through our app—their co-pilot, minus the small talk. You’ll design end-to-end digital experiences, from first setup to unlocking Ride Pro app features, shaping how riders connect with their bike and navigate their city.

We are looking for someone who brings a sharp eye for interaction, systems, and visual design—grounded in user insight and an understanding of business strategy and technical realities. You’ll work closely with the Apps team’s product owner, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and a joy to use again and again.

What you’ll do

• Design in the Apps team for our core mobile app experience; helping riders get to work, visit a friend, and go anywhere their city life takes them.
• You take into account insights, the technical landscape, business needs, and specific platform demands to produce user-friendly solutions.
•  You will own the design end-to-end, from concept to launch, making sure it’s build-ready for the engineers, testable, and open to iteration as new insights emerge during development.
• You have a keen eye for designing on-brand experiences.
• Share and contribute to promote a people-focused attitude in the organisation.
• You rapidly prototype to explore concepts and ideas to substantiate your design decisions.

What you’ll bring

• You have at least 4+ years of experience in designing products for consumer-focused tech or media and for iOS and Android mobile platforms.
• You have a people-focused design attitude and want to design and build products/features that improve our riders' experience everywhere.
• You have strong skills in visual design and an attention to detail.
• You are well organized, and able to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders and users to define problems and deliver creative solutions.
• You can work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams, integrating diverse perspectives.
• You are eager to put your designs to the test, gather feedback and user insights, and work to improve the experience iteratively.
• You have a strong portfolio and can demonstrate why you would be excellent for this role.
• For this role you will be based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
