Luna – which became a part of Landis+Gyr effective by 2022 - is the leading provider of smart metering devices for electricity, water and heat and associated software solutions for Turkey with headquarter located in Cigli - Izmir. As of today, Luna is the giving service to local and international customers with more than 600 employees within two facilities and improving its products by R&D Center located in Izmir.

We’re looking for Technical Manager who will join our team in Cigli/Izmir.

What we look in candidates;

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a technical management role within a regulated production environment (e.g., pharmaceutical, chemical, medical device, or food industries).
• Proven track record of in facilitating effective communication across cross-functional teams and managing complex production systems.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene and safety regulations applicable to industrial manufacturing.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work effectively in an international, cross-cultural environment.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all technical aspects of the production facility, including process engineering, quality assurance, and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure adherence to strict hygiene, safety, and regulatory standards in line with global best practices.
• Act as the primary interface and coordination point with headquarters for all technical, operational, and strategic initiatives.
• Part of initiative to foster output and streamline interfacing for seamless operations as aligned on LTM level.
• Take ownership of production scheduling, ensuring efficient resource allocation and on-time delivery.
• Oversee and optimize local material sourcing strategies in alignment with corporate procurement standards.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, supply chain, and quality management teams across the EMEA region.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the local engineering and production processes.
• Prepare and manage technical budgets, timelines, and reporting.
