Lead Cell Engineer

Your contribution:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cell Engineer to join our team and lead pursuit engineering activities for our automotive energy solutions. This customer-facing role requires a dynamic individual with experience in complex systems and the ability to manage multiple projects and customers simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities: What you will do

• Support pursuit engineering activities for automotive low voltage Lithium Ion batteries, Sodium Ion batteries, and super capacitors.

• Collaborate with automotive customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored modeling solutions.

• Conduct cell-level analysis, testing, modeling, and simulation to ensure compliance with customer requirements, automotive standards, and regulatory standards.

• Work closely with the cross functional engineering team to select the appropriate cell to meet all customer requirements including performance and packaging.

• Work with internal and external suppliers to identify the correct cell for a given application.

• Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the project lifecycle.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of modeling solutions.

Knowldge, Skills and Abilities: What we look for

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

• Strong understanding of low voltage Lithium Ion batteries, Sodium Ion batteries, and super capacitors.

• Experience with complex systems and automotive customers.

• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.

• Knowledge of automotive standards and regulations.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Fluent in both German and English
