About the Job
Your contribution:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cell Engineer to join our team and lead pursuit engineering activities for our automotive energy solutions. This customer-facing role requires a dynamic individual with experience in complex systems and the ability to manage multiple projects and customers simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities: What you will do
Support pursuit engineering activities for automotive low voltage Lithium Ion batteries, Sodium Ion batteries, and super capacitors.
Collaborate with automotive customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored modeling solutions.
Conduct cell-level analysis, testing, modeling, and simulation to ensure compliance with customer requirements, automotive standards, and regulatory standards.
Work closely with the cross functional engineering team to select the appropriate cell to meet all customer requirements including performance and packaging.
Work with internal and external suppliers to identify the correct cell for a given application.
Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the project lifecycle.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of modeling solutions.
Knowldge, Skills and Abilities: What we look for
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Strong understanding of low voltage Lithium Ion batteries, Sodium Ion batteries, and super capacitors.
Experience with complex systems and automotive customers.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
Knowledge of automotive standards and regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Fluent in both German and English
