We are currently looking for:

Ocean Logistics Specialist

Location:

Preferable: Poland (Gdańsk/Gdynia/Kraków/Bydgoszcz), but we are flexible and will consider other EU locations where CANPACK has presence

Main responsibilities:

  • Preparation of RFQs
  • Freight analysis and reporting
  • Ordering Multi-modal Transportation
  • Reviewing the cost, processing invoices and related data on SAP and TMS
  • Monitoring and following up with Forwarders, Carriers and ensuring shipments are on time
  • Conducting the qualification and assessment process of external service providers,
  • Addressing complaints and claims if any
  • Be aware and report changes or trends on transport market cooperation with the Investment, Purchase, Sales, Customs and warehouses within the scope of delegated duties. 

Requirements:

  • Professional experience in ocean freight is preferred
  • Fluency in written and verbal English (min. B1/B2)
  • University degree (Logistics, Commerce or Economics preferred but not mandatory)
  • Good command of MS Office
  • Knowledge of MS Power BI will be an advantage
  • Good planning and organizing skills
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and excel under pressure
  • Knowledge of the Transporeon TMS system and SAP would be an advantage
