Job Description
Job purpose
The primary task of this role is to support the EMEA region in broker management, customs data collection, audits, day-to-day operations and support the implementation of GTC policies across EMEA region.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Basic customs or logistics knowledge is preferable.
- Requirements
- College or university degree preferably in logistics/foreign trade - Desirable
- Experience
- Customs or trade compliance experience- Desirable
- Knowledge, skills & abilities
- Advanced communication level in English (both written and verbal)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical mindset and solution- oriented approach
- Good networking and interpersonal skills (in English)
- Willingness to develop your own knowledge
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional team environment
Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Role
- · Support document collection for external and internal customs audits.
- · Customs broker data collection, tracking and manage data quality issues.
- · Responsible for customs documents recordkeeping.
- · Support collecting and tracking supplier declarations.
- · Support to maintain trade preference data and classification in GTS system.
- · Solve basic customs and trade compliance related escalations.
- · Support GTC manager to implement trade compliance policies across the region.
