About Parameta Solutions
Parameta Solutions is the Data & Analytics division of TP ICAP Group. The business provides clients with unbiased OTC content and proprietary data, in-depth insights across price discovery, risk management, benchmark and indices, and pre and post-trade analytics. Its post-trade solutions offering helps market participants control their counterparty and regulatory risks through a growing range of tools that manage balance-sheet exposure, as well as compression and optimisation services. The Data & Analytics division includes the following brands: Tullett Prebon Information, PVM Data Services, ICAP Information and Burton-Taylor Consulting.

Role Overview

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth across key markets, with accountability for maintaining the existing revenue base and developing new business opportunities within a defined book of business across ANZ and Korea market. The position also encompasses a wide range of responsibilities such as account planning, business forecasting, client retention, cross-sell / upsell, and coaching and mentoring others on the broader team.

Role Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify new revenue opportunities – conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and expand contacts within accounts to solidify renewal outcomes.
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align sales efforts with overall business goals. Drive contract negotiations in partnership with Legal and Product stakeholders to achieve account growth targets.
  • Monitor and report on renewal metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Proactively manage internal stakeholder relationships to bring the full resources of Parameta Solutions to bear for our clients.

Experience / Competences

Essential

  • Excellent track record in account management
  • Previous experience in the financial markets
  • Strong background in growing established revenue streams, ideally in the subscription-based financial data and analytics space
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding growth targets in a competitive environment, showcasing a results-driven approach.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions, utilising metrics to drive strategy and performance.
  • Experience in developing and executing successful renewal strategies, demonstrating leadership in driving growth initiatives.
  • Strong skills in nurturing long-term relationships with clients, enhancing customer loyalty and satisfaction through effective account management
  • Proficient with Salesforce and sales analytics tools, ensuring effective management of sales processes and performance tracking.
     

Desired

  • Familiarity with key client personas including Buy Side and Sell Side financial institutions.
  • Experience with advanced market analysis tools and software that support data-driven decision-making and trend forecasting.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution of renewal strategies while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, demonstrating flexibility in approach and perseverance in overcoming challenges.
  • Ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions to meet client needs and address market challenges.
  • Experience in working collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Familiarity with financial modelling and analysis, which can support more sophisticated sales discussions and presentations.
  • Strong understanding of OTC Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Energy & Commodities markets, enabling effective client engagement and strategy formulation.
