About the Job
• Competitive compensation package of minimum $70,000 – maximum $85,000
Benefits include:

- Consults with operations management on human resource issues related to hiring, compensation, training and development, disciplinary actions and terminations.
- Interprets and assists with the understanding of human resource policies and procedures.
- Manages compliance issues; identifies local compliance risks and proactively plans to mitigate risks.
- Manages the hiring process including candidate screening, hiring, new employee set-up, payroll, and leaves of absence.
- Serves as the liaison between the unit and the Division Human Resource Director.
- Coaches and mentors assigned employees; assigns work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assesses performance and provides feedback to direct reports.
- Maintains confidentiality of all information.
- Other duties as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred.
- PHR or SPHR preferred.
- 5 - 7 years of relevant human resource experience, including recruiting, selection, and employee relations required.
- Understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- HRIS, ADP, and investigative experience preferred.
- Travel requirement outside of the immediate area (10%-15%).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that convey complex ideas in a simplified manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to interact professionally with culturally diverse individuals during a time of crisis and distress
- Must be well organized, detailed oriented, have strong problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines.
- Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
- Confident and skilled in using GSuite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms)
- Bias for action, excellent attention to detail and relentless commitment to follow-through
- Proven track record of sound decision making, taking ownership, and delivering results
- Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances.
- Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
- 100% of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities
- Work is primarily accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a computer and telephone
- Must be able to work at different worksites depending on need.
- The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer
- All Transdev employees must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Safety Sensitive Positions will also be subject to a physical screening
- Transdev maintains a Drug Free Workplace and may require participation in a random drug screening program.
