Job Description<div><div>As the Beyond Meat Regional Account Manager (RAM) - East, you will be responsible for selling &amp; executing key Beyond Meat strategies with the goal of hitting revenue &amp; profit growth targets at a set group of retailers based in US.  You will be equipped with a set trade spend budget to drive said strategies &amp; growth.  You will also leverage brokers, distributors, &amp; other key partners to maximize the impact across your customers. </div><div> </div><div>A successful RAM deeply understands their retailers &amp; consumers.  Consequently, they build strategic plans that simultaneously grow Beyond’s business, grow the customer’s business, &amp; delight the shopper &amp; execute those plans with excellence.  Their buyers, distributors, &amp; brokers come to them first with opportunities or ideas because they trust the KAM knows exactly what solutions will deliver the most value.  Lastly, because of this robust knowledge &amp; understanding, they actively advocate internally for the strategies, tools, &amp; support that will maximize growth for their customers. </div><div> </div><div>The RAM - East is critical to achieving our financial goals &amp; furthering our mission.  They will be trusted with developing &amp; maintaining sustainable, profitable businesses at each of your customers.  Occasionally, you will need to navigate headwinds &amp; adversity, creatively utilize available selling tools &amp; resources, &amp; wear multiple hats to ensure successful end-to-end execution.  Grit, determination, leadership, strategic thinking, &amp; a belief in our mission align strongly with the day-to-day responsibilities of the role.  We believe the following actions &amp; behaviors are they key to success as the Regional Account Manager. </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>MAJOR ACTIVITIES TO ENSURE ACHIEVEMENT OF KEY RESULTS &amp; DELIVERABLES </div><div> </div><div>Sell &amp; Execute Key Business Drivers in Line with Beyond Meat National Strategies: </div><div><ul><li>Ensure your customers have the right distribution in the right stores at the right time with a focus on Beyond’s core line of products. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Actively pursue everyday pricing across the total portfolio that enables the best value (quality &amp; size for the price) vs our competition within each respective market.   </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Design &amp; execute a promotion plan that maximizes profitable growth &amp; unlocks other key business drivers.  Ensure the plan stays within national guardrails &amp; trade spend budget. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Create category &amp; shopper minded shelving strategy recommendations where Beyond Meat products are easy to find, highlighted within the category, &amp; always on shelf (limit out of stocks). </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Build out a detailed annual plan incorporating these &amp; other relevant key business drivers.  The plan should be anchored on where you are today, what your targets are (with check in &amp; completion dates), &amp; what is needed from both Beyond &amp; the customer to achieve success.   </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Leverage Tools/Resources &amp; External &amp; Internal Partners: </div><div><ul><li>Identify, learn, &amp; utilize a variety of data tools to develop plant-based meat insights. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Collaborate with category management team for key top customer meetings &amp; deliverables. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Build relationships with the right distributors &amp; brokers that allow for maximized impact across your customers.  Educate &amp; equip key partners.  If there are gaps, issues, or opportunities with current partners, craft a solution with actionable direction for internal leadership (e.g. recommending a new distribution method). </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Serve As Driven Team Member &amp; Internal Leader: </div><div><ul><li>Communicate volume &amp; trade spend forecasts during structured meetings &amp; as needed. Proactively call out gaps, upsides, &amp; risks with corresponding actions or help needed. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Share proven content &amp; tools with the rest of the retail team. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Champion strategies &amp; ideas that will drive the collective retail business forward. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Positively influence organizational culture &amp; energy. </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>THE IDEAL CANDIDATE’S QUALIFICATIONS: </div><div> </div><div><ul><li>BA/BS required </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>5+ years of retail sales experience, including strategic accounts &amp; scale retailers, with strong track record of success </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Experience in a top-tier consumer products % / or food &amp; beverage company </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Strong financial acumen </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Excellent analytical &amp; problem-solving skills </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, &amp; PowerPoint </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Comfortable using trade spend management &amp; forecasting tools </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Must have excellent communication &amp; presentation skills with the ability to motivate &amp; engage </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>WORK ENVIRONMENT </div><div><ul><li>Remote position with ability to travel 20-40%, preferably based in a major Northeast city </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Collaborative team with occasional need to work with cross-functional teams to get results </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Passionate organization centered around Beyond Meat’s mission and goals </li></ul></div></div>**Annual salary commensurate with experience** The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $105,000 and $115,000. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.
