This cross functional leadership role is critical to ensuring the development and execution of the company’sfacilities management strategy, owning and developing vendor and contractor relationships, ensuring that infrastructure is maintained - including office spaces, labs, and research and production equipment -and working closely with stakeholders across the company to improve operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environment regulations. In this role, you will:• Develop and execute a strategic facilities and maintenance plan that aligns with businessobjectives.• Build and lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary team including facilities, equipment,engineering, and other support functions in the organization of the COO. Foster a culture ofexcellence and accountability.• Oversee day-to-day operations at all facilities in San Jose, ensuring operational consistency,efficiency, and best practices across buildings. This includes facility and equipment maintenance,renovation, equipment installation, security, and building operations.• Develop and oversee preventative maintenance programs to ensure the value of companyassets; develop and track metrics to understand and approve effectiveness.• Install and maintain process equipment developed internally and externally; and work closelywith process teams to set priorities and ensure optimal operation of key assets.• Prepare and manage budgets and identify cost savings opportunities.• Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, ensuring high-quality service,negotiating contracts to maximize value and speed.• Oversee space planning and utilization to maximize efficient use of resources to enable growthand changes in priorities.• Develop effective methods for performance management and personnel development. Qualifications:• Education: Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, ora related field is required.• Experience: 15+ years in facilities management and leadership. Experience managing a largeteam at multiple sites is preferred.• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of building systems, and maintenance practices, aswell as safety regulations.• Leadership and Management Skills: The role requires proven ability to lead and develop a teamand foster a collaborative environment with a strong bias to action.• Financial Acumen: Strong budgeting and financial analysis skills are required.• Project Management Skills: Experience in tracking and managing facilities projects, includingbudgets, timelines, and risk, is essential.• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills needed to interact effectively withengineers, technicians, and executives across the organization.• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data, areneeded.• Compliance Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of relevant building and safety regulations isrequired. ONSITE: This position is required to work onsite 5 days per week to meet the minimum essential dutiesand requirements of this position.  As an on-site R&amp;D and manufacturing operations organization, in person face to face interaction is essential to building authentic relationships, trust, teamwork, andcollaboration.  Compensation &amp; Benefits: Salary range for this role has a range of $235,500 to $329,700 and a finalsalary will be determined by the candidate's experience and educational background.
