AECOM is seeking a Contracts Manager for a prestigious project based in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering complex project requirements.This is a site-based role in Abu Dhabi, requiring a 48-hour, 6-day work week. Job Requirements<ul><li>Coordinates and provides review, administration and compliance activities for industrial, commercial and government contracts/subcontracts of smaller scope and complexity. </li><li>Supports contract review, acceptance and compliance through one or more of the following: reviews proposed terms and conditions of a contract during the solicitation process and identifies nonstandard terms and may recommend modifications to contract language, works with project manager and client/government representative to review and resolve questions or issues related to contract compliance or terms and conditions of the contract, prepares reports related to contract spend and progress, conducts compliance reviews and ensures corrective actions are completed in a timely manner, and assists with reviews required for contract closure. </li><li>Employee follows standardized instructions or procedures and works under direct supervision assisting higher-level contract administrators. </li><li>Work is checked for accuracy, adequacy, and adherence to instructions.</li></ul>Detailed Duties &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>Direct liaison with the Client and PMC project team.</li><li>Advises on all contractual matters.</li><li>Partakes in pre-qualification and selection of contractors.</li><li>Administers the procurement process for contractors and consultants including, but not limited to, advance review of construction plans and specifications, assistance in preparation of solicitations, coordinating and scheduling pre-bid and post bid clarification meetings, amendment preparation and contract negotiations.</li><li>Develops and implements procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy. As appropriate, contribute to or influence company policies.</li><li>Review, develop and enforce administrative procedures for effective and economical performance within terms and conditions of the contract and policies approved by the Project Manager.</li><li>Administers on-going Contracts, including monitoring contractor and compliance with the Contract documents.  Investigates problems and recommends corrective action.</li><li>Ensures all warranties, bonds, insurances, guarantees, etc. are in place and maintained and updated in accordance with the Contract and are in compliance with the Clients requirements.</li><li>Prepares correspondence and maintains records necessary to ensure the effective administration of all Contractual matters.</li><li>Advises on contractual implications of change orders.</li><li>Ensures that all contractual procedures are implemented and maintained.</li><li>Makes amendments to contractual documents as required.</li><li>Provides contractual advice in the evaluation of Interim and Final Payment Certificates.</li><li>Administration, review and settlement of claims, resolution of disputes and contract change negotiations.</li><li>Reviews and responds to contractors claims in accordance with the provisions of the Conditions of Contract.</li><li>Day to day contractual correspondence.</li><li>Assists the Project Manager in contract close-out procedures to ensure that all terms and conditions of contracts have been complied with prior to final payment to contractor.</li></ul>
