Electrical Foreman

We want you to have a sense of belonging and feel valued for your contributions and the perspectives you bring.&nbsp;Summary:The Craft – Foreman is responsible for supervising crew members by ensuring productivity, safety, and compliance with company policies and procedures.&nbsp;Requirements:Client Relationship Management Accountabilities:<ul><li>Provides excellence in the management and delivery of the project, in-line with the client’s expectations.</li></ul> Planning:&nbsp;<ul><li>Reports information about site activities including routing, fence crossings, traffic flow, water flow, moving farm animals, and hazards to the Superintendent.&nbsp;</li><li>Utilizes and direct staff for daily construction activities.&nbsp;</li><li>Identifies potential workflow and staffing issues.</li><li>Evaluates on-site assessment prior to commencing work to ensure that the job is ready and address any concerns.</li><li>Translates general work requirements into a prioritized work plan and communicates it to the crew.</li></ul> &nbsp;Leadership:&nbsp;<ul><li>Directs, guides, and coaches Craft to ensure activities on site are understood and following established processes through quality checks.</li><li>Follows processes for systems and communication lines on site and ensure implementation is consistent.</li><li>Assists with managing Craft personnel.</li><li>Fosters a culture of continuous improvement.</li><li>Ensures that project is utilizing Safety Management Systems (SMS), Quality Managements Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and technical procedures.</li><li>Identifies and mitigates potential employee relations issues.</li><li>Assigns tasks and oversees the execution of the work including quality and production. Inspects and measures completed work.</li><li>Prepares records and reports.</li><li>Recognizes, addresses, and resolves issues among crew members.</li></ul> QA/QC:&nbsp;<ul><li>Manages quality control program to ensure processes are implemented according to the plan and are consistent.</li><li>Maintains work standards and outlines behavioral expectations to ensure morale, productivity, and safety.</li></ul> Environment:&nbsp;<ul><li>Provides the required documents, drawings and other forms to active projects for monitoring and maintaining the EMS.</li><li>Ensures all required permits are received before commencing work.</li><li>Ensures training is provided and certifications are maintained on field staff to comply with EMS requirements.</li></ul> Additional Responsibilities:<ul><li>Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.</li></ul> Safety:&nbsp;<ul><li>Ensures that safety is the most important function and follows safe practices while working.</li><li>Reinforces safe behaviors and eliminates “at risk” behaviors.</li><li>Ensures Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs) occurs before scopes of work commence.</li><li>Adheres to and understands standard operating procedures.</li><li>Receives job- and task-specific training prior to work commencing.</li><li>Follows technical, quality, and safety systems in place and determines appropriate action.</li><li>Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.</li><li>Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.</li><li>Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies &amp; Procedures.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li></ul>Qualifications:&nbsp;<ul><li>High School Diploma/GED required.</li><li>3 or more years of construction experience required.</li><li>Ability to travel domestically 76-100% required.</li><li>Must possess a valid Driver’s License. </li></ul><ul><li>Advanced level of knowledge in:<ul><li>Safety and OSHA requirements</li><li>Relationship building</li><li>Interpersonal skills</li><li>Interpretation of a project schedule</li><li>Planning and task direction</li><li>Adaptability to environment</li><li>Working in fast paced environment</li><li>Interpretation of scopes of work</li><li>Project permits</li><li>Leadership</li><li>Team building</li><li>Mentor and facilitator</li><li>Decision making</li><li>Understanding environmental concepts including permit requirements</li><li>Interpreting state rules and regulations</li><li>Contract management</li><li>Sub-contractor and vendor and materials management</li><li>Construction drawing review</li><li>Drawing Quantity Takeoff</li><li>Communications, leading meetings, engaging teams, public speaking, presentations</li><li>Reporting</li><li>Writing skills</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Intermediate level of knowledge in: <ul><li>Project Management</li><li>Creating logical and resource-loaded project schedules</li><li>Budget Analysis and controls</li><li>Estimating work efforts</li><li>Change orders</li><li>QA/QC processes</li><li>Development of processes and procedures</li><li>Continuous Improvement such as Lean, Six Sigma, Total Quality Management</li><li>Project Finance</li><li>Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook, Visio)</li><li>Job Costing or accounting software</li></ul></li><li>Basic level of knowledge in:<ul><li>Engineering Management</li><li>Scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera 6)</li></ul></li><li>Functional competencies include attention to detail, communication, casting the right shadow, accountability, and ethics and integrity.</li></ul> Anticipate Pay Range: $29.00 -$32.00&nbsp;Per Diem of $128.57&nbsp;daily to cover lodging, meals and travel during rotation.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;RES offers benefits that are effective first day of employment.
