Reporting to the Country Operations Manager, the procurement assistant will support the procurement and operations functions with the day-to-day procurement, office administration, fleet management activities for the organisation.  Working closely with the Country Procurement Officer and Project Managers. Project, operations and finance staff who are involved in requesting and payment of procurements, and operations support.Key ResponsibilitiesProcurementSupport with the day-to-day procurement requests from the project teams as guided by the Country Procurement Officer.Office AdministrationManages stock of office supplies, office equipment and furniture.  Liaises with the ICT department for the support of teams at field level, maintains office and equipment to ensure a safe and clean working environment. Ensures payment of utility bills and follows up on any office repairs.Logistics and TravelCoordinates logistics and travel for visitors and staff at the project level. Manages SNV Kenya vehicles at field level ensuring all are safe and road-worthy.
