We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</div>What you’ll do: <ul><li>Lead a team of manufacturing engineers responsible for fuselage process development and integration into the final assembly build sequence.</li><li>Develop and optimize fuselage build sequencing to align with system installations, component alignments, and certification-driven inspections.</li><li>Drive cross-functional collaboration with design, final assembly, quality, and supply chain to resolve fit, alignment, and system-integration challenges quickly and effectively.</li><li>Oversee the creation of detailed work instructions, quality checkpoints, and fixture/tooling requirements to ensure consistency across shifts and builds.</li><li>Serve as the technical authority for the Fuselage Integrated Product Team, ensuring processes are robust, repeatable, and ready for certification and production ramp.</li><li>Provide technical leadership for fuselage build operations, including structure integration, system installations, component alignment, and overall aircraft build sequencing, while simultaneously collaborating with Wing and Final Assembly Integrated Product Teams.</li></ul>What you need:<ul><li>Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.</li><li>8+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, with a proven track record in final assembly for prototypes or experimental programs (EVTOL, rotorcraft, or other emerging aircraft strongly preferred)Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary manufacturing teams in fast-paced environments.</li><li>Proficiency in CAD (e.g., CATIA, NX) and familiarity with PLM/MES systems</li><li>Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex integration challenges under tight deadlines.</li><li>Deep understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and general aircraft assembly requirements, including regulatory (FAA) considerations. </li></ul>Bonus Qualifications:<ul><li>NX Experience</li><li>Teamcenter Experience</li><li>SAP Experience</li><li>Part 23 Certification Experience</li><li>eVTOL or Advanced Air Mobility Experience</li></ul>Please note that this job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not include an exhaustive list of responsibilities and qualifications.At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business.
