This position is intended to be a Sales and Sales Operations focused training program to be "the jack of all trades" that deeply understands our business model, with a focus of sales and customer success responsibilities. The best candidate is someone that wants to win deals as a salesperson but also understand that for a logistics company like Dimension, a major part of customer experience is about implementing orders.</div><div> </div><br><br><h3>As Business Operations Associate you will: </h3><ul><li>TLDR for this role: this is intended to be a sales-focused early career role for to learn all the aspects of the business. The most immediate responsibility is to become a successful Account Executive. Once you have mastered that role, further development is not limited to the sales org. We are looking for an individual that can remember and establish deep relationships with both the customers and providers of our business, and understand how to make a market to match supply and demand.</li><li>Daily work will include the following bullet points:</li><li>Price quote orders big and small, and understand what makes a facility/provider market-competitive.</li><li>Source and onboard new providers for underserved markets/ waste streams.</li><li>Understand and improve our software, including our AI models.</li></ul><h3>Required Skills &amp; Experience</h3><ul><li>TLDR for the ideal candidate: a hardworking self-starter with a "trader mindset" and cares to craft salesmanship. Someone that thrives/ loves to a) make a market and close deals; b) communicate with strangers and deeply cares about your customers/ providers via phone calls, text, and emails; c) great with technology.</li><li>Based in San Francisco and able to work from the San Francisco office (downtown right outside the Montgomery BART station) 4 days a week.</li><li>Able to work EST hours at least 2 days per week by starting at 7 AM . You can typically work from home in early mornings, and communicate to office around 10-11 AM to overlap with your teammates for the rest of the day. You are splitting the morning shifts with another coworker, so you only need to do the mornings 2 days a week.</li><li>Early career role. Ideal for graduates with 1-3 years of full time work experience.</li><li>Preferred previous work experience in the following field: working as a broker or middleman, sales and trading, customer success for complicated products</li><li>A hustler: strong drive and flexibility to learn anything, start anything, and scale up anything.</li><li>Strong technical skills; good with learning new tools; </li><li>High attention to detail, and trainable to learn new process.</li><li>Self-motivated and have a stellar work ethic.
