You will design, implement, operate, and continuously improve HVAC, chilled and hot water, compressed air, fire protection, and other <em>mechanical</em> utilities that support manufacturing operations. You will lead <em>mechanical</em> projects, resolve complex technical issues, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability, energy efficiency, and operational safety.</p><hr><h3><strong>You Will:</strong></h3><ul><li>Design, specification, and implementation of <em>mechanical</em> systems to meet production and operational demands.</li><li>Oversee day-to-day operation and maintenance of HVAC, chilled water, hot water, compressed air, and fire protection systems.</li><li>Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs in partnership with the maintenance team to maximize uptime and efficiency.</li><li>Support facility readiness for equipment installations, shutdown coordination, and facility upgrades.</li><li>Review technical drawings, P&amp;IDs, and contractor submittals to ensure compliance with project and engineering requirements.</li><li>Conduct performance analyses on <em>mechanical</em> systems and drive energy-saving initiatives.</li><li>Ensure adherence to local regulations, international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA), and Lucid internal policies.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Construction, EHS, and Maintenance to meet plant readiness and production objectives.</li><li>Manage contractor performance, spare parts strategy, and <em>mechanical</em> project delivery.</li><li>Participate in budgeting, cost control, and forecasting activities related to <em>mechanical</em> utilities.</li><li>Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the facilities organization.</li></ul><hr><h3><strong>You Bring:</strong></h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Equipment Engineering and at least 5 years of professional experience.</li><li>2+ years of experience in facility <em>mechanical</em> systems within industrial or manufacturing environments.</li><li>Proven expertise with HVAC, piping systems, pumps, air compressors, thermal utilities, and fire protection systems.</li><li>Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and P&amp;ID interpretation.</li><li>Strong knowledge of <em>mechanical</em> codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA).</li><li>Experience implementing preventive/predictive maintenance and energy efficiency initiatives.</li><li>Familiarity with BMS/BAS system integration and CMMS platforms (SAP PM, Maximo).</li><li>Demonstrated project management and vendor coordination skills.</li><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.</li><li>Certifications such as LEED, energy management, or commissioning are a plus.</li><li>Experience in cleanroom or automotive manufacturing environments is preferred.</li></ul><p><em>Join Lucid Motors and be a part of the luxury electric vehicle revolution in the region!
