This role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to support production efficiency and minimize downtime. The engineer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.</p><hr><h3>You Will:</h3><ul><li>Perform routine and preventive maintenance on BIW <em>mechanical</em> equipment to ensure operational efficiency.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve <em>mechanical</em> issues promptly to minimize production interruptions.</li><li>Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures in alignment with OEM standards.</li><li>Ensure BIW jigs and fixtures are maintained and consistently deliver reliable dimensional performance.</li><li>Coordinate with the dimensional engineer to establish the calibration plan for all jigs and fixtures within the BIW.</li><li>Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades.</li><li>Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.</li><li>Support installation and <em>commissioning</em> of new equipment in the BIW line.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.</li><li>Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Train and guide maintenance technicians on <em>mechanical systems</em> and best practices.</li><li>Collect and analyze maintenance data to identify trends, improve processes, and reduce downtime.</li><li>Adjust work schedules to meet production requirements.</li><li>Perform other tasks as assigned, permanent or temporary, to support efficiency in operations.</li><li>Generate proper reports and corrective measures on all incidents to proactively decrease the potential of future failures.</li><li>Apply alignment techniques for shafts, conveyors, and various other equipment.</li></ul><hr><h3>You Bring:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or Equipment Engineering and at least 5 years of professional experience.</li><li>3–5 years of experience in <em>mechanical</em> maintenance within the automotive industry in BIW.</li><li>Hands-on experience with BIW equipment such as conveyors, torque tools, lifters, and robotic systems.</li><li>Knowledge of lean manufacturing and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) principles is a plus.</li><li>Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).</li><li>Strong knowledge of <em>mechanical systems</em>, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, valves, and all <em>mechanical</em> components in automotive assembly lines.</li><li>Proficient in reading technical drawings and equipment manuals.</li><li>Excellent <em>troubleshooting</em> and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).</li><li>Good communication and teamwork abilities.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.</li><li>Able to use SolidWorks/CAD.</li><li>Capable of performing repetitive tasks, standing for long periods, and handling physical components.</li></ul><p>*** This position requires Hands-on experience with Automotive Manufacturing Body in White equipment.  (Please apply only if you have this experience)</p><p><span><em>Join Lucid Motors and be a part of the luxury electric vehicle revolution in the region!
