If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.</div></div><p>This role is located on-site at Headquarters in Newark, Ca.</p><p><span style="text-decoration:underline;">ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p><p>· Conceptualize, prototype, and launch cutting-edge ADAS/AD <strong>Driving features</strong> such as driver monitoring systems (DMS) for hands-off driving, automated lane changes, and more sophisticated steering, braking, and acceleration control on geo-fenced roads.</p><p>· Be responsible for the timely delivery of fully validated, high-quality customer features</p><p>· Create and manage feature roadmaps for multiple vehicle program line and get buy-ins from</p><p>stakeholders such as marketing, homologation and other teams</p><p>· Be voice of customer and represent features in all communications with stakeholders</p><p>· Develop feature definitions, use cases, functional requirements, and target performance KPIs</p><p>· Work closely with Functional Safety team to facilitate HARA and Safety Goal development</p><p>· Drive feature specifications using creative ideas and lead usability studies with UX/UI design team to</p><p>bring each feature to the next level providing a best-in-class premium experience</p><p>· Work closely with Tier 1 suppliers and internal teams to implement innovative solutions</p><p>· Lead competitive benchmarking to stay up to date with latest market trends and technologies</p><p>· Work cross functionally to ensure good communication to achieve a seamless and robust feature</p><p>development and delivery.</p><p><span style="text-decoration:underline;">REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</span></p><p>· Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering,</p><p>Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or other related fields</p><p>· Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of work experience, or Master’s degree with 5 years of work experience</p><p>preferably in the automotive field</p><p>· Proven track record of bringing automotive ADAS/AD <strong>Driving</strong> <strong>features</strong> into</p><p>production</p><p>· Expertise in use case and requirements development for <strong>ADAS/AD Driving features</strong></p><p>· Experience with automotive supplier interaction, specification development, project/release</p><p>management, and change management</p><p>· Strong understanding of regulations (FMVSS, GSR, ECE R79) and standards for ADAS features (ISO</p><p>26262, ASPICE, SOTIF, ISO standards) to ensure safety, compliance, and innovation in the automotive</p><p>industry.</p><p>· Expertise in Euro NCAP testing and scoring methodologies to establish precise point targets</p><p>· Proficiency with requirements management tools (JAMA, DOORS, etc.) · Proficiency with agile development tools such as JIRA · Excellent communication skills and ability to present results and achievements to a non-expert audience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: · Previous experience with ADAS/AD customer functions at a Tier 1 or OEM · Experience with feature level project management, and ADAS software development process · Experience with component and system integration, and testing and verification on system and vehicle levels · Knowledge of in-vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) · MS or PhD in System Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar preferred</p><p> </p><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
