On-site</span></p><p><strong><span>Role Responsibilities:</span></strong><span> </span></p><ul><li><span>Contribute to ADAS motion control and actuation</span><span> interface specifications, system requirements for both internal and external supplier-provided systems.</span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Translate ADAS longitudinal and lateral actuation interface requirements to verification tests and execute in vehicle.</span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Organize test campaigns based on project milestones and verification cycles. </span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Serve as the primary technical interface between various internal software teams and external chassis hardware suppliers (OEMs/Tier 1s) to resolve integration gaps and deviations early in the design phase</span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Collaborate closely with the system engineers and functional safety team to ensure compliance with ISO26262 standards.</span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Explore and implement simulation, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and vehicle test approaches for efficient (sub-)system testing and validation.</span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Contribute to the definition and build-up of the test vehicle fleet, test benches, and calibration installations.</span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Develop and improve test plans, conduct data analysis, and participate in feature validation tests.</span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span> Enhance the integration process through automation and efficient test strategies.</span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Leverage state-of-the-art processes and tools for architecture, requirements, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) in a collaborative environment.</span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Travel domestically and internationally as required to support testing at Proving Grounds.</span><span> </span></li></ul><p><span> </span><span> </span></p><p><strong><span>Required Qualifications:</span></strong><span> </span></p><ul><li><span>Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.</span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span>5+ years of related experience, with a proven track record in hardware/software systems for ADAS features and / or </span><span>electromechanical motion control systems (e.g., Steer-by-Wire, Electronic Braking, Drive-by-wire, etc.)</span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Deep experience in designing, debugging, testing, and bringing up complex hardware/software systems.</span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Capability and creativity to complete projects successfully in innovative startup environments.</span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Several years of working experience at automotive Tier 1/2 suppliers or OEMs, with a deep understanding of automotive processes and workflows.</span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Programming skills and data analysis tool experience (e.g., C/C++, Matlab/Simulink, CANoe/CANape/CANalyzer, CAPL scripting, OXTS ground truth).</span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Knowledge of ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) or SOTIF (ISO 21448), specifically in interpreting safety concepts and verifying ASIL targets</span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Experience with requirements management tools such as JAMA, 3DX, DOORS, Polarion, or similar.</span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).</span><span> </span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><strong><span>Preferred Qualifications:</span></strong><span> </span></p><ul><li><span>Master's degree in System Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.</span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span>3 years of related experience or equivalent work experience (PhD without experience).</span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Demonstrated expertise in system engineering/integration for ADAS/AD features in mass production</span><span> </span></li></ul><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
