This role demands a strategic leader capable of guiding multi-disciplinary teams through the complexities of large-scale energy projects, from initial planning to successful execution and completion. The Director of Project Execution ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. By managing stakeholder relationships, overseeing financial and contract management, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company standards, the Director plays a critical role in maintaining the company's reputation for excellence in the renewable energy sector. This position reports to the Vice President of Hydrogen or another management personnel that the CEO head may designate. This position is expected to travel up to 30%.  This position will be located in Irvine, CA or Houston, Texas.   RESPONSIBILITES: <ul><li>Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of hydrogen and energy projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, within scope, on time, and within budget.</li><li>Management of 3rd party engineering services, including Pre-FEED, FEED and EPC.</li><li>Manage project milestones and critical paths, applying rigorous project controls and reporting mechanisms.</li><li>Cultivate strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met and to facilitate smooth project execution.</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and resolution of issues</li><li>Champion the highest standards of quality, health, safety, and environmental compliance across all projects.</li><li>Implement and oversee safety management systems, quality management systems, and environmental management systems, ensuring projects comply with all regulatory and company standards.</li><li>Prepare and present presentations to Senior Management as requested.</li><li>Work with different internal teams to negotiate contract terms (project finance, engineering, project management, procurement and legal)</li><li>All other duties as assigned by Senior Management.</li><li>Regular attendance, in accordance with the company’s attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position.</li></ul> QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Extensive track record of successfully building large-scale projects in the energy industry.</li><li>Working technical knowledge of hydrogen production technologies</li><li>Existing experience with suppliers, consumers, and potential partners in the energy space.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a technical or business Master's degree.</li><li>Project Management Certification</li><li>10 + years of technical experience in related energy markets.</li><li>Entrepreneurial minded and strong self-starter approach to work requiring minimal supervision.</li><li>The ability to quickly work on new tasks and accommodate changing circumstances.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and other relevant tools</li><li>Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills</li><li>Strong team player with a high degree of professionalism in which one always conducts self.</li></ul> $180,000 - $225,000 Salary  Attention external recruitment firms, we will not accept any unsolicited resumes at this time.
