Job Description:The Accounts Payable Trainee will be located in Chennai, India and will be responsible to process invoices as per the standard operating procedures and meet the targets. Watch “<a href="https://youtu.be/BtjIN9oHRMY?si=ONfWJ-vFlLZckjrE">Culture is our Passion</a>” to learn more about us.We are looking for someone who demonstrates:<ul><li>Passionate drive to innovate and create </li><li>Integrity to the core</li><li>Enthusiastic customer focus</li><li>Consistent interactive teamwork </li><li>Desire for continuous improvement and top performance </li></ul>Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:<ul><li>Process invoices as per the standard operating procedures and meet the targets Payment processing Payment forecast analysis.</li><li>Review of provisions Resolve discrepant invoices as per the standard operating procedures Reporting activities - Generate and update the AP reports.</li><li>Contact vendors and confirm receipt of invoice/shipment.</li><li>Vendor account reconciliation Passing rectification entries for the errors identified by internal QC team Reporting on weekly basis Reconciliation of Sub-module vs Trial balance. </li><li>Analyze data &amp; come with his/her findings on automation opportunity</li></ul>Here is some of what you’ll need (required)<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field or equivalent experience and training. </li><li>Typically requires 06 months to 1 year of related experience in accounts payable operations, invoice processing.</li><li>Ready to work in US time zone.</li><li>Willingness to work in complex environment with strict deadlines on projects.</li></ul>Here are a few of our preferred experiences:<ul><li>Good written/oral communication skills in English</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP Systems</li><li>Engagement with management of projects related to the unit</li><li>Good analytical skills and should be a team player.</li></ul>At Nextpower, we are driving the global energy transition with an integrated clean energy technology platform that combines intelligent structural, electrical, and digital solutions for utility-scale power plants.
