Our approach is firmly rooted in providing our customers with reliable financial and policy advice to make the most of their investments, and built on a reputation for quality, integrity, and performance.<h2>Responsibilities</h2>Job PurposeWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Coordinator to join our accounting team who is able to go into the office in the downtown Philadelphia area for a minimum of 1 day per week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendor, various balance sheet reconciliations and supporting overall financial operations. Major Accountabilties<ul> <li>Invoice Processing: <ul> <li>Efficiently handle the end-to-end processing of invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.</li> <li>Verify and reconcile invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.</li> </ul></li> <li>Vendor Management: <ul> <li>Maintain positive relationships with vendors and respond to inquiries regarding payment status.</li> <li>Address and resolve discrepancies or issues related to invoices and payments.</li> </ul></li> <li>Payment Processing: <ul> <li>Prepare and process payments, including checks, electronic transfers, and ACH transactions.</li> <li>Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of payments to vendors.</li> </ul></li> <li>Expense Reports: <ul> <li>Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies.</li> <li>Verify receipts and documentation for accuracy and completeness.</li> </ul></li> <li>Recordkeeping and Reporting: <ul> <li>Maintain organized and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions.</li> <li>Generate regular reports to provide insights into payment status and financial data.</li> </ul></li> <li>Notary Track: <ul> <li>Willingness to obtain Notary certifications and perform notary tasks for the operations team.</li> </ul></li> <li>AP Automation Experience: <ul> <li>Utilize accounts payable automation tools to enhance efficiency, reduce manual tasks, and improve accuracy.</li> <li>Contribute to the ongoing development and optimization of AP automation processes.</li> </ul></li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2>Required Work Experience<ul> <li>Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li> <li>Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Coordinator or in a similar role.</li> <li>Familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar cloud-based ERP accounting software.</li> <li>Experience with accounts payable automation tools.</li> <li>Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.</li> <li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.</li> <li>Effective communication skills to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders.</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.</li> <li>Bonus: Construction experience with lien waiver and/or prevail wage compliance a plus.</li></ul> The expected starting pay range for this role is $25.00 - $40.00 Hourly USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education.
