As an R&amp;D Engineer (Failure Analysis Engineer), you will be part of the Technology Development Department-Failure Analysis team, focusing on the design and development of failure analysis systems, testing, characterization, and scaling of key components of Mangrove’s technology. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ion exchange membrane evaluation, as well as a strong foundation in electrochemical principles, devices, FA systems design, and processes. The role requires a diverse, well-rounded technical and entrepreneurial skill set. It also provides an exciting entry point into the rapidly growing lithium-ion battery sector.  Required Education, Skills and Experience <ul><li>BSc or MSc in chemical engineering, chemistry, materials science/engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields. </li></ul><ul><li>3+ years industrial experience in membranes evaluations/development, electrochemical engineering, and system/component failure analysis.  </li></ul><ul><li>Hands on experience in the ion exchange membranes testing, analysis, and electrochemical characterizations. </li></ul><ul><li>Utilize statistical design of experiments to optimize resource use and enhance data quality. Analyze results through thorough and rigorous statistical methods. </li></ul><ul><li>Experience in the materials characterization techniques (e.g., XRD, SEM, EDX, AFM, FTIR, …).  </li></ul><ul><li>Experienced on identifying membranes failure mechanisms in electrochemical processes.
