As our Mechanical QC Supervisor, you will be responsible to report back to the Site Quality Manager on a daily basis on planned vs actual progress on Quality Inspections, sign off and Punch Listing. Main responsibilities <ul> <li>Pro-actively engage with Contractors’ supervisors to optimize daily progress &amp; inspections &amp; monitor the contractor for compliance to the Project Quality Plan at all times</li> <li>Review and follow up on and implement contractor’s QC registers such as non-conformance, QCP, ITP checklist and punch list</li> <li>Perform inspections at site which include compiling required construction quality reports by reviewing construction quality reports / inspection reports by the suppliers</li> <li>Sign off on construction quality inspection reports from suppliers</li> <li>Pro-active reporting on lack of progress and risk</li> <li>Ensure all Inspection Equipment registers, calibrations, and calibrations certificates are managed and current at all times</li> <li>Ensure special attention is given to hidden works control, process testing &amp; materials used by means of Mechanical Check Lists</li> <li>Ensure all Red Line, Single Line diagrams &amp; as built drawings are complete, reviewed &amp; signed off, registers updated and uploaded</li> <li>Ensuring all Pre-Commissioning Site Acceptance Testing has been completed &amp; signed off and compliant to the Operation &amp; Maintenance Manual &amp; Requirements</li></ul>Qualifications and competencies <ul> <li>Technical National Mechanical Trade Certificate with at least 5 years’ site experience</li> <li>Proof of Internship/ apprenticeship completion at a reputable Mechanical Construction Institution (Governmental Sectored.) with 10+ years’ experience on large scale projects</li> <li>Formal Quality Qualification (Six Sigma green/black)</li> <li>Formal Quality Inspection Training Certifications with proof of 15+ Quality Control Experience with contactable references to act as referee for experience &amp; achievements on Construction Projects</li> <li>Fluent in English, spoken and written </li> <li>Competent in navigating &amp; applying Quality Management Systems</li> <li>Experienced in working &amp; complying to ISO 9001 2015 Standards</li> <li>Experienced in working &amp; complying to IEC Standards</li> <li>Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Mechanical (HV) Installation on large projects</li></ul>Personal characteristicsIt is part of every employees’ terms of reference to contribute to Scatec's vision: Improving our Future and adhere to our company values which are:<ul> <li>Predictable: demonstrate clear communication and listening skills, shares information in an open and honest way</li> <li>Driving results: demonstrate determination, pro-activeness, can prioritize and work independently</li> <li>Changemaker: demonstrate entrepreneurship, can challenge, fast learner, take initiates and adjust</li> <li>Working together: demonstrate teamwork, shares responsibilities, can compromise, has a can-do attitude</li></ul>For the particular role we also expect<ul> <li>To have a valid driver's license</li> <li>Fully computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)</li> <li>Working as a team player</li> <li>Working unsupervised</li> <li>Excellent documentation &amp; reporting skills</li></ul>Additional information:<ul> <li>Local travelling might be required</li></ul>We offerScatec is an exciting, innovative, and ambitious company operating in a growing industry.
