And that’s where you come in.Job Description:The Assistant Contract Manager supports the Senior Contracts Manager in the effective administration, negotiation, and management of the CP04 contract (E&amp;M Systems, Track Works, and Depot Equipment) and its associated subcontracts. The role involves hands-on management of commercial correspondences, claim reviews, subcontractor coordination, and compliance with FIDIC-based procedures.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Support the Senior Contracts Manager in all post-contract administration matters for the main contract and major subcontracts.</li><li>Prepare, review, and finalize contractual letters, notices, claims, variations, and other project correspondences.</li><li>Monitor and ensure compliance with contract conditions, specifications, and procedures.</li><li>Analyze subcontractor claims and variations, verify entitlement, and prepare recommendations.</li><li>Participate in monthly progress and commercial meetings with the Engineer, Employer, and subcontractors.</li><li>Review interim payment applications (IPAs) and payment certificates (IPCs) for accuracy and contractual compliance.</li><li>Assist in maintaining the contractual correspondence register, claim tracking, and document filing system.</li><li>Support dispute resolution processes, including documentation for Dispute Board or arbitration.</li><li>Provide guidance to junior team members on contract interpretation and correspondence drafting.</li></ul>Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
