As we continue to transform our operations, we are looking for a Transport Specialist to join our team and help optimize transportation processes across the region.The compensation for this position is between $78,200 and $97,700 annually, based on experience and qualificationsWhat You’ll DoAs a Transportation Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and timely transportation operations. Your responsibilities include:<ul><li>Optimize Transportation Spend: Manage transportation budgets, analyze costs, and track KPIs to drive financial efficiency.</li><li>Vendor &amp; Carrier Management: Manage our transportation service provider while being the conduit between the MSP, commercial team, and the DC network. Maintain and develop relationships with our key carriers holding QBR on performance.</li><li>Coordinate Complex Shipments: Oversee shipments outside the Managed Service Provider (MSP) scope, including 3PL movements, asset transfers, production components, inbound raw materials, finished goods, and returns.</li><li>Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless delivery and operational excellence.</li><li>Support Strategic Initiatives: Partner with Global Procurement, North American Strategic Sourcing, Operations, and Corporate functions to align transportation strategies with business goals.</li></ul>What You Bring<ul><li>Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)</li></ul><ul><li>Experience: <ul><li>3–5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations.</li><li>Familiarity with North American transportation regulations and compliance requirements.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Technical Skills: <ul><li>Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle).</li><li>Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau).</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Certifications (Preferred): <ul><li>APICS CSCP, CTL, or similar supply chain certifications.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Core Competencies: <ul><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on cost optimization.</li><li>Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Soft Skills: <ul><li>Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.</li><li>Collaborative mindset with a continuous improvement approach.</li></ul></li></ul>Why Join Us?
