This role also supports customs compliance activities and serves as a backup for import and export shipments.</span></div><div><br></div><div><b style="font-size:16px;">Travel</b><span style="font-size:16px;">: Up to 25% may be required (including international travel).</span></div><br><br><h3>In this role, you will:</h3><ul><li>Collect and interpret data on KPIs, freight spend, and lane performance to drive planning, prioritization, and capacity alignment.</li><li>Maintain accurate shipment data in SAP Transportation Management (TM) and monitor in-transit shipments to ensure end-to-end visibility and mitigate delivery risks.</li><li>Collaborate with Inventory Planners and suppliers to align transportation plans with material availability, production schedules, and build priorities.</li><li>Support import/export compliance activities, including documentation review and collaboration with customs brokers to ensure regulatory adherence.</li><li>Support the planning and execution of ad-hoc inbound and outbound shipments while serving as a backup for general import/export operations.</li><li>Identify data gaps and process inefficiencies to assist in developing dashboards and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance data quality and planning effectiveness.</li><div><br></div></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in transportation analytics or logistics planning within a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Proven experience working with SAP Transportation Management (TM) or similar systems, including shipment lifecycle management and data integrity.</li><li>Strong ability to interpret complex transportation data, model freight spend, and translate metrics into actionable insights for decision-making.</li><li>Experience with import/export processes and customs compliance, including working with freight forwarders and brokers.</li><li>Excellent cross-functional communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.</li><li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced production environment.</li></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience building dashboards or automated reports using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or BI platforms, and familiarity with SAP S/4HANA.</li><li>Master’s degree in Supply Chain/Operations or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.</li><li>Prior experience specifically supporting production or manufacturing planning teams.</li></ul><br>
