POSITION SUMMARY: The Director Strategic Operations is responsible for developing and executing operational strategies that align with Environmental Services' overall strategic goals, focusing on optimizing efficiency, driving growth, and ensuring smooth execution of key initiatives by analyzing data, identifying improvement areas, and leading cross-functional teams to implement necessary changes across the organization. The Director Strategic Operations oversees the day-to-day operations of the Business Unit, ensuring efficient workflows, managing budgets, and developing strategies to optimize productivity, all while aligning with the organization's strategic goals.<div><div><div><div>PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul><li>Coaches and develops a team of professionals to assist in their development and attainment of necessary skills to lift performance. Monitors staff performance and drives performance improvement initiatives and ensures that service levels meet or exceed agreed upon standards.</li><li>Collaborates with leadership to develop and refine strategic plans, identifying critical success factors and key performance indicators (KPIs). Monitors key performance metrics to track progress and identify potential bottlenecks. </li><li>Analyzes market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making. </li><li>Identifies areas for process improvement across departments and implements operational changes to streamline workflows and reduce costs. </li><li>Oversees the execution of large-scale strategic initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. </li><li>Ensures adherence to all relevant compliance, regulations, and safety standards across the business unit.
