Role Summary:  The Engineer is responsible for Design, Development and Establishment of Injection molds, and Fixtures. He will be involved from quotation phase until establishment, for Providing concepts and proving of injection Moulds both at supplier and in-house. Understanding of Injection mold design is a mustRoles and Responsibility:<ul><li>Manufacturing feasibility studies from 3D models and preparing DFM reports.</li><li>Conceptualise mould design and estimate required Moulding machines capacity and manufacturing processes.</li><li>Estimate Mould /Fixture cost and lead time considering best manufacturing methods.</li><li>Responsible for reducing mold cost and lead-time by providing innovative Ideas to suppliers.</li><li>Responsible for Mould design reviews including mold flow analysis and feedback to supplier to ensure defect free development.</li><li>Should be able to identify failure modes and take actions to eliminate failures.</li><li>Monitor time plan and ensure tool development schedule.</li><li>Attending Try-outs and ensure the quality of mould, fixture and part.</li><li>Root cause analysis and preventive actions to eliminate the failures and defects.</li><li>Responsible for PPAP, New product Documentation and retention.</li><li>Establishing of moulds/fixtures for in- house production and ensure smooth transition.</li><li>Responsible for continuous improvements after handover to production.</li></ul>Requirement: <ul><li>Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience specifically in Plastic Injection Moulds development, Manufacturing and processing</li><li>Knowledge in Injection Mould Design, manufacturing and Process setup</li><li>Knowledge in Machining and other Mould manufacturing processes.</li><li>Injection Moulds manufacturing process planning</li><li>Working on Design 3D and 2D software</li><li>Managing Development activities at supplier’s place</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify, troubleshoot production issues effectively and resolve process inefficiencies.</li><li>Proactive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.</li><li>Flexible to travel anywhere, whenever required.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Basic computer knowledge </li><li>Experience with PVC, CPVC and UPVC will be an added advantage.</li><li>Sincere, Responsible, Flexible, Good Teamwork, Pro-active, and Positive thinking.</li></ul>
