Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Material Expeditor - MEP with a strong background in semiconductor facility projects. The ideal candidate will have 12 years of experience in expediting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing materials for large-scale industrial and high-tech projects. This role involves ensuring timely delivery of materials, coordinating with vendors and suppliers, and maintaining compliance with quality and project timelines.Responsibilities:Material Expediting:<ul><li>Track and monitor material delivery schedules for MEP packages.</li><li>Monitor material movement from vendors to site and resolve delays proactively.</li><li>Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for priority handling of critical items.</li></ul>Vendor Coordination:<ul><li>Liaise with suppliers to ensure adherence to delivery commitments.</li><li>Address vendor-related issues and escalate delays to management.</li><li>Maintain strong relationships with suppliers for timely resolution of challenges.</li></ul>Documentation &amp; Reporting:<ul><li>Maintain accurate records of material status and prepare expediting reports.</li><li>Prepare daily/weekly expediting reports for project management and stakeholders.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation for material approvals and certifications..</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Quality Assurance:<ul><li>Ensure materials meet project specifications and quality standards.</li><li>Coordinate inspections and certifications as required.</li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and semiconductor industry norms.</li></ul>Stakeholder Coordination:<ul><li>Act as the interface between procurement, engineering, and construction teams.</li><li>Provide timely updates on material status to project managers and clients.</li><li>Assist in resolving material-related risks and propose mitigation strategies.</li></ul>
