Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Manager - Material Management with a strong background in semiconductor facility projects. The ideal candidate will have 15 years of experience in managing material procurement, inventory control, and logistics for large-scale industrial and high-tech projects. This role involves ensuring timely availability of materials, compliance with quality standards, and cost optimization while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.Responsibilities:Material Planning &amp; Procurement:<ul><li>Develop and implement material management strategies for semiconductor projects.</li><li>Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to forecast material requirements.</li><li>Ensure timely procurement of materials in alignment with project schedules and budgets.</li></ul>Inventory &amp; Logistics Management:<ul><li>Monitor inventory levels and ensure efficient storage and handling of materials.</li><li>Coordinate logistics for material delivery and site requirements.</li></ul>Vendor &amp; Supplier Coordination:<ul><li>Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers for semiconductor-specific materials.</li><li>Negotiate contracts and ensure adherence to delivery timelines and quality standards.</li><li>Resolve vendor-related issues and maintain strong supplier relationships.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Documentation:<ul><li>Ensure adherence to SEMI, ISO, OSHA, and local regulations for material handling.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of material transactions and prepare regular reports.</li><li>Implement robust tracking systems for material movement and usage.</li></ul>Cost Control &amp; Optimization:<ul><li>Monitor material costs and implement strategies for cost reduction.</li><li>Prevent material wastage and optimize resource utilization.</li><li>Support budget forecasting and reporting for material-related expenses.</li></ul>Stakeholder Coordination:<ul><li>Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to align material requirements with project goals.</li><li>Provide regular updates on material status to project management and clients.</li><li>Address material-related risks and propose mitigation strategies.</li></ul>
