Your mission Position, Location, Department  Full-time | Madrid, Spain | Technical Europe    Position Summary  The Technical Presales Manager ESS is responsible for providing technical pre-sales support for energy storage system solutions across the South-West Europe region. The role supports Sales teams by delivering technical expertise, solution design, bid support, and customer-facing presentations for utility-scale and residential ESS projects.     Reporting line: Head of Technical Europe    Major Responsibilities  <ul><li>Provide technical pre-sales support for ESS products, including customer communication, technical clarification, and solution presentations in collaboration with Sales</li><li>Design and configure ESS solutions, including product selection, system sizing, technicalpreparation, and cost-related inputs for quotations</li><li>Participate in tender and bidding processes; prepare and review technical bid documents in English and Chinese</li><li>Support the drafting and review of technical specifications and technical agreements for ESS projects</li><li>Act as a technical interface between Sales, HQ technical teams, product management, and customers</li><li>Deliver internal and external technical training sessions for ESS products and solutions</li><li>Support technical evaluations of customer requirements, grid standards, and project feasibility</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement of technical documentation, solution templates, and pre-sales processes</li><li>Perform additional technical tasks or project support as assigned by leadership</li></ul>Performance Indicators  <ul><li>Bid win support rate / technical contribution to successful tenders</li><li>Turnaround time for technical proposals and configurations</li><li>Number and quality of technical trainings delivered</li><li>Reduction in technical clarification cycles or bid revisions</li><li>Stakeholder feedback from Sales and customers</li></ul> Your profile Required Qualifications  <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Power Systems, or a related technical field</li><li>Proven experience in ESS technical support or pre-sales, preferably with utility-scale and/or residential energy storage systems</li><li>Strong understanding of the European energy storage market, grid requirements, and customer expectations</li><li>Strong technicalexpertisein energy storage systems and solution design</li><li>Experience supporting large-scale ESS projects is strongly preferred</li><li>English and Spanish: C1 (professional working proficiency)</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies  <ul><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills, including creation and delivery of PPTs</li><li>Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences</li><li>Structured, detail-oriented, and solution-focused working style</li><li>Strong cross-functional collaboration skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities </li></ul>Travel Requirement  <ul><li>Regular travel across Spain/ Portugal as required</li><li>Occasional travel within Europe</li></ul>
