Job DescriptionKey Accountabilities: This role will support the strategic goals and day-to-day operations of the Events team. The candidate will be involved in the development, planning, and execution of all Brookfield led events, both in person and virtual, and the research and management of all external conferences in which Brookfield participates. Support coordination of Brookfield hosted events2. Assisting with logistics including venue &amp; vendor research, catering, support materials, rooming lists, AV, set up and registration and on-site support as needed3. Create and manage event invitations on Cvent, run registration reports as needed4. Compile pre-and post-event documents (briefing memos, post-mortems)Brookfield External Events 1. Support regional Events and Marketing head on annual conference strategy2. Manage external conferences database3. Manage participation logistics and sponsorship coordination (speaker registration &amp; prep calls, rooming lists, client dinners/receptions)4. Post-event reconciliation (survey, budgets, post-event reports)Investor Day and Investor Conference1. Supports the Events team to successfully execute three flagship conferences for ~500 clients / event2. Identifying event material needs and placing orders with vendors - venue signage, catering orders, name badges, branded items, iPads, decor, etc.3. Assisting in research of additional venue locations for cocktail receptions &amp; dinners and coordinating logistics including menus, transportation, sourcing materials, seating arraignments, etc.4. Reserving hotel room blocks and manage guest room lists and logistics5. Assisting with onsite set up and logistics6. Assisting with invitations7. Compile pre- and post-event documents (briefing memos, post-mortems)Candidate Profile:<ul><li>A degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Events, or related field or equivalent work experience</li><li>3-5 years’ professional experience   </li><li>Meticulous attention to detail and a strong passion for planning events</li><li>Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment, multi-task and prioritize</li><li>Organized, proactive and self-motivated individual</li><li>Ability to keep calm and problem solve quickly under high pressure moments</li><li>Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to deal effectively at all levels within the organization</li><li>Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)</li><li>Knowledge of event management software (Cvent) required</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to stay focused, efficient, and effective in managing multiple priorities</li><li>Collaborative and Team player</li><li>Overtime as needed</li></ul>Salary: $105,000 - $120,000#LI-MW1Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus).
