As an Associate on the Investment Grade team, you will be covering multiple sectors and will have the opportunity to work across products lines and partner with professionals across the firm –from equity, hybrid and structured credit – at every stage of the investment cycle.In this role, you will:<ul><li>Provide analytical and project support for all investment related activities for your particular sector, including new issues, secondary opportunities, portfolio monitoring, and private credit origination</li><li>Be responsible for modeling, quantitative financial analysis, financial and business due diligence, capital structure analysis, quarterly reporting, and understanding/monitoring individual investments</li><li>Develop investment committee memoranda and materials with senior team members</li><li>Source potential investment opportunities with exploratory research and perform analytics on potential public and private credit opportunities</li><li>Assist the team with additional ad hoc projects, including – but not limited to – thematic research, portfolio monitoring, reporting, and investor requests</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>4+ years of relevant work experience, including at least two years in investment banking or capital markets</li><li>M&amp;A, Restructuring, Equity Research and/or Leveraged Finance experience is strongly preferred</li><li>Strong interest in credit investing (particularly Utilities), with an interest in focusing on various sub-strategies including Performing and Private Credit</li><li>Strong modelling, analytical, valuation, and problem-solving skills</li><li>A critical thinker with strong quantitative and analytical skills who expresses their thoughts and ideas clearly in oral and written communication</li><li>A proactive and organized self-starter with a positive attitude, powerful work ethic, strong attention to detail, and experience and comfort in Excel</li><li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution</li></ul>About ApolloApollo is a high-growth, global alternative asset manager.
