Your mission As (Senior) Tax Manager, you take ownership of all VAT-related matters within IONITY and gradually expand your responsibility into corporate income tax topics. You act as a strategic tax business partner in internal projects, ensuring tax-efficient structures and full compliance across jurisdictions.  You combine operational excellence with project-driven advisory and ensure that IONITY remains tax compliant while enabling business growth.  <ul><li>Act as tax sparring partner for internal departments (e.g.Finance, IT, Operations, Legal)</li><li>Support and shape internal projects from a tax perspective (e.g.new business models, system implementations, international expansion)</li><li>Ensure tax compliance andoptimaltax structuring in cross-functional initiatives</li><li>Coordinate and supervise the local tax advisors</li><li>Ensure high quality standards in tax reporting and compliance</li><li>Drive optimization and automation of tax and accounting processes</li><li>Contribute to strengthening the internal tax control framework</li><li>Take full responsibility for all VAT-related matters across IONITY and its branches</li><li>Oversee VAT reporting obligations such as Intrastat, SAF-Tand other local reporting requirements</li><li>Monitor VAT risks and proactivelyidentifyoptimization opportunities</li><li>Act as main contact person for VAT audits and tax authorities</li><li>Review and coordinate CIT returns prepared by external advisors</li><li>Contributetotaxcomplianceprocessesanddocumentation</li><li>Support transfer pricing topics where relevant</li></ul> Your profile <ul><li>Degree in Business Administration with focus on Accounting, Tax or Audit; certified tax advisor or master’s degree in taxation is a strong plus</li><li>Minimum 7 years of professional experience in tax &amp; accounting, ideally in an international corporate environment or a tax/audit firm</li><li>Strongexpertisein VAT; solid knowledge in Corporate Income Tax</li><li>Transfer Pricingknowledgeisbeneficial</li><li>Confident user of MS Office (especially Excel); SAP experience (ideally S/4HANA Public Cloud) is an advantage</li><li>Structured,hands-onand solution-oriented working style</li><li>Strong communicationskills and ability to act as business partner across departments</li><li>Comfortable working in an international environment and communicating fluently in English and German</li></ul>
