Our Bike/e-scooter Mechanics are responsible for keeping the wheels moving. You will need to be conscientious, flexible and have a can-do attitude. Most importantly, you will be making yourself invaluable to the scheme and the wider community. You will have a wonderful opportunity to work within one of the country’s most exciting bike/e-scooter share providers and maintain an integral role in our operations team. Responsibilities<ul><li>Ad hoc and scheduled maintenance, including but not limited to;</li><li>Full bike/escooter strip downs and rebuilds, minor and major repairs</li><li>Prioritise personal and workshop health and safety, flagging any concerns locally and speak directly to senior Beryl management if you have concerns that are not being addressed</li><li>Updating stock control systems</li><li>At all times work to Beryl standards ensuring maintenance and vehicle builds provide safe vehicles to our Customers</li><li>Follow guidance from senior mechanics for complex jobs to continually improve your skill set.</li><li>Keep accurate service and maintenance records whilst completing vehicle builds and repairs in our App</li><li>As required, update our stock control systems to ensure records are up to date</li><li>Pass Beryl mechanics’ training and other internal qualifications that are needed to ensure we are all working to the same standards</li><li>Help to support Beryl’s continual learning and improving by pointing out recurring issues with our vehicles</li><li>Keep yourself up to date with changes to processes and parts used on vehicle</li><li>Be a team player, working and helping your local and the wider Beryl team</li><li>General housekeeping in workshops and communal area </li></ul>Skills/Qualifications<ul><li>Experience of working in manufacturing, mechanical and/or an engineering front line environment</li><li>A background in mechanical maintenance</li><li>Keen interest in bicycles/escooters</li><li>Happy to work flexibly with rotational hours</li><li>Fluency and good communication skills</li></ul> What we offer in return<ul><li>The chance to build the business and help Beryl on our journey to become one of the biggest micromobility operators in the world.</li><li>32 days off inclusive of bank holidays</li><li>Employer pension contributions</li><li>Paid sick leave</li><li>Enhanced parental leave</li><li>Birthdays off</li><li>Employee assistance program (counseling support)</li><li>Annual learning and development budget</li><li>Cycle to work scheme - discounted bikes &amp; accessories</li><li>Tech scheme - discounted technology and home products</li><li>Paid volunteer days</li><li>Discounted gym memberships across the UK</li></ul> Please note, this position is shift-based with the working week running Monday to Sunday.
