Working within the core team, the Development Quality Engineer collaborates with stakeholders to achieve quality targets and ensure full compliance with requirements.Principal Responsibilities:<ul><li>Product requirements analysis starting from Voice of the Customer, market analysis, benchmarking, lessons learnt.</li><li>Define the main quality goals linked to the project.</li><li>Sponsor of design review and design-FMEA as per a risk analysis approach.</li><li>Moderate in Design-FMEA and Critical Characteristic definition in multifunctional team.</li><li>Support the definition of the Design Validation plan, including the Firmware and functionalities verification.</li><li>Technical Specifications review, including the electronic parts review with Suppliers, production requirements and testing definition.</li><li>Safe launch plan supervising the production process development and start up, guaranteeing the availability and completeness of deliverable for each stage.</li><li>Conduct Validation Activities on Software/Firmware in inverter applications for water pumping systems.</li><li>Analyze issues on products identifying root causes and support solution definition. Drive a problem-solving attitude involving appropriate departments.</li><li>Understand main software/firmware structures, review functions, use cases and define testing strategies on final application or in simulated applications.</li><li>Accountable of APQP activities in charge of Quality into Xylem Product Development (XPD) projects</li><li>Support hardware and firmware specification and design review activities with Suppliers and Xylem R&amp;D</li><li>Support ISO 9001 activity and be part of the internal auditor team.</li><li>Work according to Safety standard ISO 45001 and quality standard ISO 9001.</li><li>Workspace area in line with 5s guidelines</li></ul> Qualifications:<ul><li>Degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, mechatronics engineering or equivalent</li><li>2+ years of experience in a similar role</li><li>Good communication skills in written and spoken English and Italian.</li><li>Basics of Firmware/Software automatized Validation (ex.
