Regulatory pressure, AMP investment, energy efficiency targets, and asset resilience expectations are reshaping how wastewater treatment works are designed and maintained.If you understand how to influence projects before they go to tender — this role will give you genuine commercial leverage.The RoleWe’re looking for a commercially sharp Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth across wastewater treatment works in the South UK region.You will:<ul><li>Develop and execute a regional business development strategy focused on WwTW</li><li>Engage early in the project lifecycle to influence specifications</li><li>Identify and convert opportunities across new assets, upgrades, and retrofit solutions</li><li>Expand recurring aftermarket revenue (maintenance, refurbishment, spares, lifecycle support)</li><li>Build strong relationships with water utilities, consultants, contractors, and framework partners</li><li>Track AMP cycles, regulatory drivers, and competitor activity to sharpen positioning</li><li>Maintain a disciplined pipeline with accurate forecasting and CRM reporting</li></ul>This is not a reactive sales role.
