<h2><strong>About the role</strong></h2><p>We are searching for a Senior Business Development Manager to join the Muon Space team to lead the Data Product Line. You will be responsible for enabling customer success and growth. In this role, the Senior Business Development Manager will grow the portfolio of users for Muon’s data. The Senior Business Development Manager reports to the Vice President of Growth and collaborates closely with Muon Space’s Engineering, Engineering, Technology, growth, regulatory, legal and finance departments on both existing programs and new opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for growing the data program with the Department of Defense (DoD) Intelligence Community (IC) and International users. This role will actively contribute to Muon Space’s internal development, setting priorities and service as a voice for the customer. You will service as a capture manager to create and lead a number of new opportunities.</p><p><strong>Top Security Clearance is required</strong></p><p><strong>Location: This position can be located in the DC Metro Area or Aurora, CO</strong></p><h2><strong>Responsibilities </strong></h2><ul><li>Drive near term and long term data growth for Muon Space in DoD, IC and International.</li><li>Lead customer engagement, pipeline development and capture efforts.</li><li>Provide thought leadership in the development and synthesis of a cohesive and executable strategy for target organizations.</li><li>Identify new opportunities and lead capture throughout pipeline stages to support company growth targets.</li><li>Create, maintain and implement customer engagement plans.</li><li>Lead proposals and RFI responses. As part of proposal leadership- develop win themes, engage with engineering to develop technical solutions, develop Price to Win,  write content and perform overall review of content before submission.</li><li>Leverage Muon Space’s tools and processes to track and manage opportunities.</li><li>Collaborate with other BD personnel and engineering on opportunities.</li><li>Provide input from Customers into the product technology roadmap.</li><li>Work with Legal and Finance on opportunities.</li><li>All other duties as assigned</li></ul><h2><strong>Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li>10+ years of professional experience in defense/ GEOINT with 5+ years in Business Development.</li><li>Able to build a plan and execute with clear ownership and minimal oversight.</li><li>Experience working with business development on USG captures and supporting and/or leading proposals.</li><li>Demonstrated success capturing space business within the DoD/ IC.</li><li>Continuous learner that is not afraid to lead through uncertainty, take chances, and learn from his/her mistakes.</li><li>Consistently takes initiative and champions causes that need to be addressed.</li><li>Demonstrated emotional intelligence to interact and empathize with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and customers.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced development environment.</li><li>Able to travel up to 35% of time.</li><li>Active DoD TS clearance.</li></ul><h2><strong> Preferred Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li>Master’s degree in technical field.</li><li>Demonstrated experience delivering to DoD/IC.</li><li>Experience with OPIR missions. </li><li>Experience working with a diverse set of U.S. Government DoD, IC and Civil customers.</li><li>Understanding of systems engineering processes and system architectures</li></ul><h2><strong>Salary</strong></h2><p>The salary range for this role is $140,000 to 170,000.</p><p>On-Target Earnings: $280,000 – $340,000 (base + target commission at 100% quota attainment)</p><p>Commission structure is uncapped</p><p>Plus a competitive equity grant and comprehensive benefits package.
