You will be working under the Service department and be based remotely in the Central England (ex: Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Northampton, or nearby) metro areas. This position will report to our Director, Global Service (based in the US). </div><div><br>This is a highly hands-on role that requires flexibility to travel to customer sites across the United Kingdom (or other parts of EU as we expand) as needed, with occasional work outside standard working hours and on weekends.</div><div><br>On a typical day, you’ll be diagnosing and resolving BESS (battery energy storage system) issues remotely, guiding customers through what next steps to take to resolve their issues, and partnering with internal teams to troubleshoot complex engineering problems. You’ll document technical solutions for other technicians, create and manage service tickets to track issues, and work closely with the supply chain to organize and maintain spare parts inventory within your region.</div><div><br>Strong customer communication skills are essential, as you’ll frequently support customers remotely and, when required, travel on site to resolve more complex issues in person. Proficient with electronic equipment, power tools, and troubleshooting electrical systems.</li><li><strong>Educated</strong>: Trained as an Electrical Technician, Electrician, or Electrical Engineer, preferably with renewable energy systems</li><li><strong>Licensed</strong>: Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle (we provide a vehicle allowance and reimbursement for mileage)</li><li><strong>Technical</strong>: Strong understanding of electrical safety, testing procedures, and relevant regulations.
