You’ll be responsible for maintaining smooth financial operations while adhering to company policies and internal controls.<div></div>Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Invoice &amp; Payment Processing: Process and pay supplier invoices and employee expense claims in a timely manner.</li><li>Corporate Card Management: Administer corporate card accounts and reconcile associated transactions.</li><li>Account Allocation: Ensure invoices are correctly charged to the appropriate accounts and cost centers.</li><li>Vendor Relations: Address and resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and payments.</li><li>Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve any discrepancies in related transactions.</li><li>Credit &amp; Stop Payments: Ensure credits are received for outstanding memos and initiate stop payments when necessary.</li><li>Expense Report Review: Review and process employee expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies.</li><li>Breach Reporting: Identify and report any breaches or irregularities in the payment process.</li><li>Record Management: Maintain accurate historical records by filing relevant documents.</li><li>Query Resolution: Manage the AP mailbox, responding to queries and resolving issues promptly.</li><li>Governance &amp; Controls: Follow established governance and internal controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.</li></ul><div></div>Role Responsibilities<ul><li>Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders globally to maintain smooth AP operations.</li><li>Invoice Management: Accurately process high volumes of invoices each month, ensuring all payments are made on time.</li><li>Month-End Close Support: Contribute to month-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.</li><li>Global Billing: Support global billing operations, managing multi-currency transactions and addressing international tax requirements (VAT, GST, WHT).</li><li>Sub-Ledger Reconciliation: Maintain and reconcile multiple AP sub-ledgers, ensuring consistency across different currencies and business units.</li><li>Payment Platforms: Use banking software and payment platforms to execute secure financial transactions.</li><li>Reporting &amp; KPIs: Prepare and deliver reports aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs) to support performance tracking.</li><li>Process Improvement: Contribute to the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.</li><li>ERP System Utilization: Utilize ERP systems such as Oracle Accounts Payable, SAP Concur, and Oracle iProcurement to manage payment workflows effectively.</li><li>Data Analysis &amp; Excel: Apply intermediate Excel skills to support data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation tasks.</li><li>Compliance: Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls, promptly reporting any breaches or anomalies.</li></ul><div></div>Experience &amp; CompetenciesEssential<ul><li>Strong ability to collaborate across Finance and other departments, building effective working relationships.</li><li>Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues independently.</li><li>Demonstrated capacity to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring precision and consistency in all financial tasks.</li></ul>Desired<ul><li>Experience in the financial services sector or similar industries.</li><li>Familiarity with SAP Concur, Oracle Financials, and Oracle E-Business Suite.</li><li>Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, or other query/ticket management tools.</li><li>Knowledge of global billing processes, including handling multi-currency transactions and international tax issues (e.g., VAT, GST, WHT)</li></ul>Working Hours<ul><li>This role may require working flexible shifts to accommodate operational needs across different time zones</li></ul>Job Band and Level<ul><li>Associate - Professional/5</li><li>Analyst- Professional/4</li></ul>Not The Perfect Fit?Concerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
