AECOM is actively seeking a self-driven and motivated Transportation Program Executive with extensive Transit Rail experience to serve as a Program Management Consultant Lead on signature mega projects in the New York, NY area. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career with program, design, and construction management experience in Transportation, specifically Transit Rail, and Heavy Civil (Underground) Construction in the New York Metro market with distinct prior MTA experience. The position will report to the VP of Transportation Construction as part of the NY Metro Transportation business line.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Directs and manages the entire project through all phases</li><li>Responsible for delivery of a major program</li><li>Provides leadership and guidance to subordinate managers and staff</li><li>Enforces company and project policies</li><li>Acts as primary liaison between AECOM and client interface</li><li>Provide regular status briefings to Client</li><li>Lead issue detection and resolution</li><li>Confirms compliance with all facets of the project including commercial, design and construction</li><li>Implement a safety and quality oversight program</li><li>Responsible for budget control, schedule and contract management</li><li>Ensure proper staffing levels</li><li>Lead contract closeout</li><li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and community representatives</li><li>Implement and oversee a comprehensive risk management strategy for the project</li><li>Ensure project adherence to sustainability and environmental guidelines</li><li>Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve project efficiency and outcomes</li><li>Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation</li></ul>
