Role PurposeWe are seeking a commercial, customer‑focused Market Development Manager to grow adoption and usage of our commodity benchmarks across the markets we serve.The role is centred on developing markets through customer relationships and partnerships, with a strong emphasis on derivatives and risk‑management use cases as a key driver of benchmark relevance, liquidity, and long‑term market adoption.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Build and manage senior customer relationships across producers, consumers, traders, financial institutions, exchanges, and brokers</li><li>Drive benchmark adoption by embedding prices into customer workflows, including physical contracts, pricing mechanisms, and derivatives and hedging activity</li><li>Develop and manage strategic partnerships (e.g. exchanges, trading venues, brokers, platforms) that support market growth and participation</li><li>Support initiatives that improve market usage, engagement, and liquidity, particularly where financial instruments play a role</li><li>Identify new commercial and market development opportunities informed by customer needs and market structure</li><li>Act as a bridge between the market and internal teams (editorial, product, commercial), ensuring customer and market insight is reflected internally</li><li>Represent the business in customer meetings, industry forums, and working groups</li></ul>
