Adheres to test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams. Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems. May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment. Performs a variety of electronic, mechanical and test functions following written Standard Operating Procedures and verbal instructions as part of the Teledyne FLIR manufacturing team. Good organizational and relevant computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office) are needed for maintaining production records. Job duties will have overlap across all products manufactured at the facility. This role involves pre- and post-flight inspections, repairs, firmware updates, and maintaining test records.
