This position has three (3) levels; A, B, and C. Level C is an entry level position and Level A is the highest. In order to be considered for Level A or B the employee must meet the requirements of all lower levels.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLEVEL C:<ul><li>Attend work on the schedule established by the employer and without excessive absenteeism.</li><li>Follow all safe work practices to include wearing all required PPE.</li><li>Must be able to have a basic understanding of the interpretation of blueprints, specifications, and diagrams to determine appropriate welding process.</li><li>Use disc grinder to smooth out, weld, or grind parts prior to welding.</li><li>Operate manual and automated welding units and equipment.</li><li>Weld in flat and vertical planes (all position welding).</li><li>Examine weld for part specifications, Grind or clean weld joint of work piece, and repair improperly welded pieces and fill holes.</li><li>Position and clamp work pieces together or assemble them in a jig fixture.</li><li>Assemble component parts using hand and small power tools. </li><li>Leak test as needed.</li><li>May change hoses, fittings, air valves, suspension parts, etc.</li><li>Cleanup work area daily.</li><li>Must pass HYDAC Basic Weld Test within the first 90 days from date of hire.
