Job DescriptionAECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior GIS Specialist for the GTA this is a new position and will be on site at a downtown Toronto location.  Imagine being part of a dynamic team, working on impactful projects, and having access to exceptional training and career development opportunities. Join AECOM and become a key player in regional projects with potential opportunities to contribute nationally or internationally.  This position is based in the Downtown Toronto office.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and associated software to produce, display, and analyze geographic information.</li><li>Manage GIS projects from conception to completion.</li><li>Provide leadership and guidance to GIS Specialists and Data Analytics Specialists in geospatial data analysis and visualization</li><li>Develop and maintain databases, reports, and mapping.</li><li>Create, organize, manipulate, and retrieve GIS data for reporting, analysis, and presentation purposes.</li><li>Perform quality assurance of GIS data and associated graphic components.</li><li>Support digital data collection programs and contribute to GIS data extraction for clients.</li><li>Work under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member.</li><li>Prepare and update metadata, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.</li><li>Support proposal development, including technical inputs, scope development, and effort estimation.</li><li>Assist project managers with planning and execution of GIS and digital deliverables.</li><li>Identify opportunities to enhance project outcomes through GIS and digital solutions.</li><li>Contribute to the growth and advancement of AECOM’s GIS and Digital practice in the region.</li></ul>
