<h3>Position Summary</h3>The Insurance Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for all insurance-related matters across the organization. This role is responsible for managing corporate insurance policies, coordinating with brokers and carriers, supporting claims processes, and ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory insurance requirements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams, external brokers, and vendors.<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>Insurance Policy Management<ul><li>Act as the company’s main point of contact for all insurance-related questions and requests.</li><li>Manage and maintain all corporate insurance policies, including general liability, workers’ compensation, auto, property, professional liability, cyber, and D&amp;O.</li><li>Track policy renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance (COIs), and coverage changes.</li><li>Maintain accurate and organized records of all insurance documentation.</li></ul>Broker &amp; Carrier Coordination<ul><li>Coordinate with insurance brokers and carriers regarding renewals, claims, audits, and coverage inquiries.</li><li>Assist with annual insurance renewals by gathering exposure data and supporting benchmarking.</li><li>Communicate internally about coverage changes, claims activity, and risk management updates.</li></ul>Certificates of Insurance &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Review contracts for insurance requirements and ensure compliance with client, vendor, and project requirements.</li><li>Issue and manage Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and endorsements.</li><li>Maintain tracking of vendor COIs and ensure compliance with internal policies.</li></ul>Claims Management<ul><li>Serve as the main contact for insurance claims.</li><li>Report claims, monitor claim progress, and coordinate communication between internal stakeholders and insurers.</li><li>Maintain claims records and generate reporting for leadership.</li></ul>Risk Management Support<ul><li>Assist with risk management assessments and loss control initiatives.</li><li>Support internal audits related to insurance and risk compliance.</li><li>Develop and maintain internal insurance procedures and documentation.</li></ul>Financial &amp; Administrative Tasks<ul><li>Track insurance-related costs and assist in budgeting and forecasting.</li><li>Process insurance invoices and coordinate premium payments.</li><li>Support internal reporting related to insurance spend, claims, and risk exposure.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field preferred.</li><li>2+ years of experience in insurance administration, risk management, or a related role.</li><li>Knowledge of commercial insurance policies and coverage types.</li><li>Experience working with insurance brokers and handling COIs strongly preferred.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and document management systems.</li><li>Experience with risk management or insurance tracking software is a plus.</li></ul><h3>Key Skills &amp; Competencies</h3><ul><li>Strong organizational and documentation skills</li><li>Communication and stakeholder management</li><li>Understanding of commercial insurance policies</li><li>Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong follow-through</li></ul>
